Since I first shared my “Why” in 2021, life has shifted in profound ways. I lost my sister Barbara in October 2023, and my beloved mom in May 2024. The portraits we captured together before their passing are now some of the most cherished things I own—truly priceless.

Hi, I'm Leslie Browne.

A few years ago, my mom had a health scare. She was in her late 80s, and for a moment, I thought we might lose her. As a photographer, the first thought that hit me was devastating: “I don’t have a single formal portrait of my mom—or one of us together.”

Growing up, we never had professional portraits taken. And although I had captured countless candid moments over the years—at birthdays, weddings, and holidays—nothing felt lasting, nothing felt legacy-worthy.

So I made it happen. I gathered my mom, my two sisters, and myself, (sadly my brother was unable to join) but I tend to focus on women portraits and we created portraits that are now among my most treasured possessions. It was the beginning of building our visual legacy—something I’m continuing with my husband and children. These portraits are now a lasting gift, a piece of our story preserved for future generations.

💄 Professional Hair & Makeup

📸 The Photoshoot

Your session will take place on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday and must be scheduled before December 1, 2025. After hair and makeup (up to 90 minutes), we’ll begin shooting. I’ll guide you through every pose, every detail, so you don’t need to worry about a thing. You’ll even get sneak peeks throughout the session to see just how stunning you look.
